I’m excited to share this delicious recipe for chocolate pudding pie courtesy of Beverly Worth Palomba. Her cookbook, Special Day Cooking, teaches cooking skills and life skills. The recipes are formatted in easy steps for beginning cooks of all ages and abilities. Here’s my affiliate link to the cookbook.
I agree cooking with kids is fun and educational. This chocolate pie is creamy, sweet, and so easy to make. It was first published in 2014 and remains a reader favorite.

Notes
Use cooked pudding for a from-scratch taste. Or try fresh whipped cream instead of Cool Whip.
Fat-free milk works but whole milk makes a creamier pie. Use 2.5 cups milk for a 5.9 oz pudding box.
Garnish with cherries, chocolate shavings or cocoa powder.
